Patterns to engrave#

The pattern I had in mind to use was quite regular. The single module creates an offset in its gradually expanding geometries.

Belle Epoque Pattern study#

At first I thought of scales-like textures or 20’s decorative patterns. I imagined an alternating superposition of the same decor. This solution did not convince me particularly

Japanase Pattern study#

So I moved my attections on traditional Japanese geometric patterns. A three-pointed pattern that creates a gradual offset of the distance between the three parts. This decorative pattern convinced me immediately and I was able to make it in a Grasshopper file.
